When Color Analysis Becomes a Calling
Sometimes the path to purpose begins with a simple curiosity. For one Style by Color Academy alum, it started after having her colors done in March 2024. What began as a personal interest for Robbie Jungers quickly became something much deeper: a calling to help women see themselves differently.
“I’ve always been told I was stylish and good at putting looks together, both for my personal style and in my home,” she shared. “After I had my colors done by Style by Color Certified Consultant, Peggy White, I became really interested. But it was the December 2024 email from Style by Color that pushed me to finally take the plunge.” Already certified as a coach through Culture Impact in Michigan, she had been searching for a niche that truly aligned with her gifts and her heart for helping others. Still, despite encouragement from friends and family, stepping into the world of color and style professionally came with hesitation. “I questioned myself even though others had told me for years I was good at it,” she admitted.

Like many women considering certification, she hoped the Style by Color Academy would give her confidence and reassurance. But, there was another reason the opportunity felt so special. “Of course, being trained by the Shari Braendel was a huge benefit! Learning from the best wasn’t only a hope; it was a dream come true.” Yes, what she gained from the experience exceeded every expectation but beyond the education itself, she found something she didn't realize she needed: Community. “My experience in the Academy met my expectations, and more! I gained training, continuing education…AND SISTERS!” As someone who grew up with only a brother, the relationships she built through Style by Color became deeply meaningful. She describes The Style by Color Sisterhood to be filled with encouragement, shared experiences, prayer, support, and a language only spoken by sister consultants. “I got the sisters I never had in my biological family,” she said. “I get encouragement, sounding boards, sharing, cheering, prayer partners, and a language only we fully understand.”
While she already felt naturally gifted in understanding color, the training in body shapes became one of the most impactful parts of the program for her. “I believe The bOd-X System was where I learned the most. I’ve always been good with color, but dressing different body types was something I definitely needed training in.” The education didn’t just prepare her to work with clients; it confirmed the way she viewed herself. Losing 80 pounds and learning how to dress her “new” body helped her to achieve a level of confidence she had never known before. “I finally feel good in my own skin,” she shared. “So much so that I decided to make it my job to help other women get to that place as well.”
Today, she shows up differently, not only in her own life, but in the way she serves others. She approaches clients with compassion and a genuine desire to help them discover what truly works best for them. “I’m always up for the pushback and challenge a client gives because I truly want what’s best for them.” One of her most memorable client transformations involved helping a woman classified as a “Soft” Color Code release her attachment to wearing black. During a closet edit, the client let go of many of the black pieces she had been hiding behind for years. “She said she understood what freedom felt like,” the consultant recalled. A few days later, the client texted her with excitement after purchasing a navy jacket and top. It was a small change that represented a much bigger transformation. “It’s breakthroughs like that that bring me so much joy!” While some women initially struggle with hearing that black may not be their most flattering color, she says most clients quickly understand once they see the difference for themselves. “Overall, everyone sees it and gets why we say, ‘These are your BEST colors!’”

Since completing her training, unexpected opportunities have opened as well. She has taken Color Analysis to the team of a local news station, appeared in a TV commercial, and connected with countless women looking for reassurance and guidance, not just for special occasions but for everyday life. But for her, this work has always been about more than fashion. “Yes, by nature I’m a helper,” she explained. “I want to help women be their best. I want them to feel good about themselves. We are all lights, and I want them to shine bright!” That belief is exactly why she feels color and style matter so deeply. “Inside every woman is a little girl who wants to look pretty. We want to feel seen and understood — not only in the world, but within ourselves.” She believes color and style are often reflections of what is happening internally — a way women communicate identity and self-worth before ever saying a word. “People can’t see our insides, so how we show up on the outside matters. Color and style reflect what’s happening inside.”
Robbie's story is a beautiful reminder that Style by Color is about far more than clothing or trends. It’s about helping women step into confidence, purpose, and identity while empowering consultants to do the same. And for anyone wondering if they are capable enough to begin, her journey offers an encouraging truth: confidence doesn’t always come before the decision. Sometimes it’s what you gain because you finally said yes.
